  • Description of Research:
    • Recent attention has been focused on chemicals synthesized from non-fossil based sources. It has been reported that the use of solid acid catalyst, during dehydration of the carbohydrates (biomass) favors the production of chemical products of special interest as biofuels. My research focuses in designing alumina catalysts, modified with functional group to improve performance of catalysts and direct them towards production of desired products.
